The Winners of the Rx Club Awards
The 27th Annual Rx Club Awards celebrated the best healthcare advertising from across the world. The event, which took place on November 21, featured 10 Gold award winners and 23 silver award winners. The awards are given to the best creative work across all media. In addition to the United Kingdom, the event also featured awards for healthcare advertising agencies around the world. The Carveth’s Way Award for “Save the Male” was given to Frontera London.
Publicis
The Rx Club Awards celebrate the most successful healthcare advertising campaigns of the past year, and this year, the winners were no different. More than 130 agencies submitted entries to the competition, which subsequently awarded nine Gold and 26 Silver awards. The winning work was showcased in the Metropolitan Pavilion, a special events venue in Manhattan’s Greenwich Village. This year’s winners included Publicis, the world’s third-largest ad agency.
Ina Kramer, founder of the Rx Club Show, a renowned healthcare advertising magazine, founded the awards in 1986. The Rx Club Awards honor innovative and creative approaches to the industry, and the judging criteria are based solely on creativity. Today, The Rx Club Awards has become a global icon in the healthcare industry, providing an independent forum for the industry to showcase its most impressive creative work. The awards honor both creative and innovative work for the expanding healthcare industry.
Medulla Communications _ Rx Club Awards
Praful Akali, Founder and CEO of Medulla Communications, has been a patron of MedicinMan and the Rx Club Awards for two years in a row. He began his career as a journalist, but later added his medical expertise with a pharmacy degree. He then moved up the corporate ladder, working for top consumer healthcare brands like Pfizer and Boots. Then in 2008, he started his own advertising agency. Since then, the agency has grown to become one of the world’s leading healthcare advertising agencies, winning business from some of the largest pharma clients in India and Asia.
In addition to winning the Global Award, Publicis also walked away with one Gold and one Silver medal. The award-winning ad for Duodopa, “Allergy Leads to Asthma,” won the Silver medal. The company also won six Awards of Excellence. Ray Adcomm, which is responsible for the “Parkinson’s House Call” campaign for Sunovion, took home a Silver medal.

Full-service advertising agency Skepper Creative Agency has won the Rx Club Show six times in a row. This prestigious awards show honors the most creative work in healthcare advertising. The agency won six awards for its work on several brands and in the Best Culture of Learning category. They recognize the best work across a variety of mediums, from TV, radio, and print.
The Proleukin Website is a fantastic example of an exceptional campaign, demonstrating the commitment of the Clinigen team to oncology. The Proleukin Website won the Rx Club Show competition in the Product Website category. This award is particularly significant, as the site was chosen from thousands of entries from five continents. The increasing level of competition in this industry is an even bigger reason to celebrate the Proleukin Website.
Audacity
The Rx Club Awards have honored the best in healthcare advertising. This year, a California-based agency, Audacity, a part of Huntsworth Health Group, won two Awards of Excellence and a Silver Award. In the competition, over 100 agencies submitted their work. The winners of the Rx Club Awards are recognized by a distinguished board of judges. Audacity has been a proud winner of the Award since 2009.
