How to Create a Wearable Collection in Decentraland
If you’re looking to create a wearable collection for yourself or for others in Decentraland, you’ve come to the right place. Recently, the creators’ association voted to charge $500 per wearable item. The fee for each item was previously set at 500 MANA. This fee was recently lowered to $500, which is the amount that you should expect to pay each week.
You can create your own wearable collection using the Polygon sidechain by paying the fee at the bridge. The On Sale button can be toggled, but it is only for primary sales. You can sell your wearable in the Decentraland Marketplace once you have an NFT. When selling your wearable to secondary users, you won’t have to pay any gas fees. You can also sell your wearables at a market price on the Polygon sidechain.
There are several reasons why you may want to start collecting wearables in Decentraland. First of all, you should consider the size of the wearables. The standard avatar has two body shapes. You can change the look of your avatar by adding a hat. The hat must be attached to your avatar’s mesh. Similarly, a helmet will replace facial and head hair.
To create a wearable collection in Decentraland, you must be a member of the Decentraland community. The wearables must also be appropriate for Decentraland, and not contain copyright material. You must also pay 500 Matic MANA for each original wearable. Hence, if you plan to create a green T-shirt, you should plan to spend up to $1000 MANA.
After you’ve created a collection you can set the prices for the items in it. Navigate to the Builder and click the Collections tab. Click on the wearable collection to select the items that you want to sell. Next, enter the price you want to charge for each item. You must remember that you will be setting the price of the wearable in MANA.
